Meet Mirinda
Mirinda attended the University of the Free State and studied BA in Geography and Sociology. Mirinda then obtained a Master’s in Town and Regional Planning and qualified as a Town and Regional Planner in 1994 and was registered with the Council for Town and Regional Planners in 1980.
Mirinda’s career started in Modimolle working in the statutory planning division of the Waterberg District Municipality as a Consultant and simultaneously started her own business, submitting various rezoning applications to the Modimolle Municipality.
After Mirinda and her husband moved to the Western Cape (Caledon) in 1998, she worked mainly in the Overberg District and submitted numerous town planning applications at the Theewaterskloof Municipality.
In 2009 Mirinda joined Urban Dynamics in Port Elizabeth as a Senior Town and Regional Planner, where she assisted in more complex mixed-use developments, wind farms, solar farms, township establishments, residential estates, town house complexes, resort developments and retail shopping centres.
